After having warned the general public that if they didn't practice social distancing they may have to go into lock down, about an hour ago Governor Inslee issued a new order for residents to "Stay Home". The order bans gatherings of any sort and closes down all businesses, unless they are "essential to the healthy functioning of our community or able to let employees work remotely from home". Under this order you are still allowed to leave your place of living, but you must stay away from other people. The order goes into effect at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow, PST. All nonessential businesses must close down by 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Inslee further enforces the need for social distancing with this order, also tweeting to the people that were not practicing social distancing: "Your actions could kill someone."
